The representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, visited Imam Zain Al-Abidin Teaching Hospital, which operates under the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine. During the visit, he conducted a field tour of the hospital’s corridors and medical departments to assess the level of healthcare services provided to patients and to review progress indicators for ongoing development projects.
In a statement obtained by the official website, the hospital administration said that “the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, accompanied by General Supervisor Dr. Sabah Al-Mousawi, visited Imam Zain Al-Abidin Teaching Hospital, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, where he carried out a field tour of the hospital’s corridors and medical departments to evaluate the level of healthcare services offered to patients and to follow up on progress indicators in development projects.”
The statement explained that “during the tour, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority reviewed the new operating halls and the designated areas for installing modern MRI and CT scan machines, as part of the hospital’s plans to expand diagnostic and therapeutic services and to provide the latest medical technologies.”
It added that “he also listened to a detailed briefing from the hospital administration regarding the completion rates of ongoing projects and the operational mechanisms adopted to ensure the delivery of comprehensive healthcare in accordance with the highest medical standards.”
The statement continued that “the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority held a meeting with the hospital administration, during which he emphasized the importance of continuing to provide the best medical services to citizens. He also stressed the need to maintain work in a spirit of responsibility and humanitarian commitment, in line with the mission of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to serve the community and strengthen the health sector.”
