Lebanese Qur’anic Delegation Received at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine

The representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbala’i, received at his office in the courtyard of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine the participants of a Qur’anic course and program organized by Dar Al-Imam Ali (peace be upon him) for Qur’anic Sciences in Beirut. The institution is affiliated with the International Qur’anic Preaching Center at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.

In a speech delivered during the meeting, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority stated that the Imams of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) emphasized that their true followers are distinguished by elevated Qur’anic ethics. He explained that these values form the foundation for social coexistence and interaction, particularly with followers of other religions and sects. He stressed the necessity of demonstrating these values in practical life so that they serve as a genuine reflection of the approach of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

He clarified that adherence to these principles is essential for conveying the true image of the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), especially within diverse societies. He further noted that the difficult circumstances and challenges faced by believers fall within the framework of divine testing, citing the Almighty’s saying: “He who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deed.”

He added that the tradition of trial and testing differs from one nation to another and from one society to another. However, patience, steadfastness, supporting the truth, and standing against falsehood constitute the core of the path of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), despite the great sacrifices that may accompany this path. He emphasized that such trials are temporary, and that the great reward from God Almighty is the true recompense for the patient.

It is worth noting that the delegation from Dar Al-Imam Ali (peace be upon him) for Qur’anic Sciences in Beirut presented an overview of its most prominent Qur’anic and cultural activities and programs.
