Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announces completion of relief mission aiding Syrian refugees in Lebanon

The relief mission of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in Lebanon has announced the conclusion of its emergency assistance operations for displaced Syrian families, carried out in accordance with the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority and its representative, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai.

Mohammed Abu Dakkah, head of the delegation, told the official website that “the relief mission of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has completed its work providing emergency assistance to displaced Syrian families in Lebanon,” explaining that “the mission was dispatched in compliance with the guidance of the Supreme Religious Authority and its representative, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai.”

He clarified that “the relief mission departed from Karbala Province on November 30 and returned on Saturday, December 20.”

Abu Dakkah added that “the assistance provided included electrical appliances, heaters, quantities of fuel, and food baskets containing 21 items, in addition to other essential supplies that helped support the displaced families and ease their suffering.”

He emphasized that “these humanitarian efforts come from the blessings of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and aim to stand by our Syrian brothers and sisters amid the difficult humanitarian conditions they are facing.”

Over recent years, the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has consistently carried out extensive humanitarian and relief programs, launching aid campaigns in several countries affected by humanitarian crises, particularly communities enduring severe living conditions.
