The Decoration Unit at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine continues its work in placing natural floral arrangements throughout the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) and its blessed corridors, in preparation for commemorating the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), which coincides with the observance of Chastity Week.
Barq Hadi, head of the Decoration Unit, stated that “this year’s celebration program included placing natural flower arrangements throughout the sacred courtyard and its blessed iwans, using more than 11,000 fresh roses.”
He added that “the unit has also completed preparing decorative elements in the courtyard of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her), in addition to arranging the various celebratory displays and activities of Chastity Week inside the holy shrine. These continuous efforts aim to highlight the beauty and sanctity of the occasion.”
He explained that “these efforts are part of a comprehensive program prepared by the Al-Imam Ali Holy Shrine to revive this blessed occasion, create a spiritual atmosphere befitting the status of Lady al-Zahra (peace be upon her), and reinforce the values of modesty and purity within the environment of the holy city of Najaf.”
