Imam Ali Holy Shrine Bids Farewell To Hajj Pilgrims from Najaf Airport

The General Secretariat of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine bid farewell to a delegation of pilgrims heading to the Holy House of God from among the servants of Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (peace be upon him), during an official ceremony held in the departure hall of Najaf International Airport. The event was attended by Deputy Secretary-General Ihsan Al-Ta’i, along with several board members and official and administrative figures.

The head of the Internal Relations Division, Karar Al-Moussawi, told the news center, “The Deputy Secretary-General bid farewell to the pilgrims departing from Najaf International Airport, wishing them complete spiritual preparation, fulfillment in reviving the ritual, and acceptance of their prayers in the holy lands during the performance of Hajj rituals.”

He added, “The activities included seeking blessings through the banner of Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (peace be upon him), in addition to distributing blessed gifts and offerings to the pilgrims before their departure to the holy lands.”

The Imam Ali Holy Shrine continues its efforts in serving visitors and pilgrims through a number of initiatives and services, most notably the launch of the virtual Hajj project, hosting the annual Hajj and Umrah conference, and printing more than five thousand booklets dedicated to Hajj rituals and guidance instructions.
