Imam Zain Al-Abidin (A.S.) Teaching Hospital, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the launch of the “Kawthar Al-Isma” Medical Initiative, which offers broad discounts across several medical departments and specialties. The initiative will run from 29 November 2025 to 11 December 2025.
Mustafa Al-Moussawi, the hospital’s media officer, stated that “under the guidance of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, the ‘Kawthar Al-Isma’ medical initiative was launched, providing a range of discounts on various medical services from 29 November until 11 December 2025.”
He explained that “the initiative includes reducing clinic fees to (5,000) IQD, offering a (50%) discount on all laboratory tests, radiology services, and ultrasound examinations, as well as a (50%) discount on physical therapy sessions. It also provides a (25%) discount on all endoscopy procedures, CT scans, and MRI tests, in addition to a (25%) discount on natural and cesarean deliveries, as well as surgical, urological, ENT, and general surgery operations.”
Al-Moussawi added that “this initiative reflects the humanitarian mission of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and its ongoing commitment to providing the best medical services while easing the financial burden on patients.”
He confirmed that “all surgeries and medical services at the hospital are performed under the supervision of highly skilled physicians using the latest medical technologies,” noting that “through this initiative, the hospital aims to combine high-quality care with reduced costs to ensure patient satisfaction and meet their needs.”
