The Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced the signing of a cooperation memorandum with the Henry Ford Medical Educational Institution, aimed at enhancing medical, training, and educational expertise.
Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, head of the authority, stated to the official website that “the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has signed a cooperation agreement with the Henry Ford Medical Educational Institution to strengthen medical, training, and educational capabilities.”
He explained that “one of the key objectives of the agreement is to review treatment protocols and revisit diagnostic processes through remote consultation.”
He added that “the next step will involve collaboration with another institution to provide opportunities for new doctors who prefer not to join governmental employment.”
Al-Abadi emphasized that “all of these agreements ultimately serve to improve the quality of medical services provided to patients in Iraq.”
This initiative comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to elevate the standards of medical staff and enhance healthcare services in Iraq. The authority continues to focus on adopting the latest educational and training methods, reviewing treatment protocols, and utilizing modern technologies, such as remote diagnosis, to advance the quality of care delivered to patients.
