400 Fire-Resistant Doors Produced Daily by Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Factories

The Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain has inaugurated a specialized factory for the production of high-quality interior household doors built to international standards, including fire-resistant models. The facility currently manufactures around 400 doors per day, with plans to double production in the near future.

Engineer Dr. Hassan Ibrahim Hassan, Technical Deputy of the factory, stated, “The plant represents a qualitative leap in the production of interior doors. We have already begun reaping the results of this project, as the factory successfully achieved a daily output of approximately 400 doors. These products come in various models and designs that cater to Iraqi tastes and local market needs, addressing common challenges encountered during door installation in residential and commercial buildings, such as size precision, wall alignment, durability, strength, and moisture resistance.”

He added that “the department’s teams have produced a line of fire-resistant doors, marking a major breakthrough in Karbala’s door manufacturing market. The factory’s initial success has paved the way for continued development and expansion.”

Dr. Hassan explained that “the door production line was designed and implemented in two stages. The first stage focused on manufacturing door frames, supported by two dedicated production lines: one producing three types of frames and the other producing five types of frame covers, either compressed or with varying levels, to meet both aesthetic preferences and market demand.”

He continued, “The second stage involves producing the door panels themselves. During the trial run, we achieved results that exceeded expectations, delivering high-quality designs and finishes that distinguish the Ataa Al-Warith Industrial Group in both color and style.”

Dr. Hassan concluded that “the current production capacity stands at 400 doors per day, while the planned target is to reach 800 doors daily in the next phase.”
