The city of Hanover, Germany, recently hosted a thirty-day Quranic educational course organized by the International Quranic Preaching Center of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, in cooperation with the Quranic institute “Khatam al-Mursaleen” (peace be upon him and his family).
Dr. Mahdi Daghaaghela, the supervisor of the course, stated, “This program came in response to the need of Quranic institutions in Europe to prepare and train specialized teams capable of teaching the Holy Book with correct intonation, melody, and recitation rules.” He emphasized that, “The participants demonstrated strong commitment and eagerness to develop their teaching skills in ways that contribute to spreading Quranic culture among Islamic communities.”
He added that the course, which was conducted online, lasted for a full month and covered several key topics. These included training Quran teachers in proper voice and melody, Tajweed rules, and modern teaching methods for Quranic recitation. According to Daghaaghela, the sessions saw remarkable engagement from both male and female participants.
He further noted that, “At the conclusion of the course, accredited participation certificates were distributed to the trainee students by the International Quranic Preaching Center, with praise from the host institute and teaching staff for the practical outcomes achieved, which will strengthen Quranic work across Europe.”
