The servants of the Alawi Holy Shrine continue their tireless efforts to serve the millions of pilgrims visiting the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), before proceeding to Karbala for the Arbaeen pilgrimage. They are also providing services and hospitality to the returning pilgrims who continue to arrive daily at the shrine in Najaf.
The “Nazm” Center for Planning and Development released statistics showing 7,658 volunteers registered to work at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine. These volunteers, representing various service institutions and community organizations from inside Iraq and abroad, made significant contributions to enhancing and ensuring the success of the services offered to visitors.
The volunteers were deployed across different departments of the Alawi Holy Shrine, particularly in those providing direct field services to pilgrims, such as the Department of Order Maintenance, the Services Department, the Pilgrims’ Hospitality Department, and the Women’s Affairs Department.
