Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announced the establishment of an integrated medical City in Diwaniyah Governorate, indicating that the project aims to provide the best services to the citizens.
Eng Abbas Al-Khafaji, the Head of the Shrine's Media Department, said, "A delegation from the Shrine included the head of the Health and Medical Education Authority, Dr Haider Al-Abedi, the director of the Engineering and Technical Projects, Eng Hussain Redha Mahdi, and other officials met the governor of Diwaniyah to discuss the project work process, implemented with an area of 99 dunums.
He added, "The project consists of a general hospital and another specialized for cancerous tumors center, in addition to other vital projects for all citizens' benefit."
