The Organizing Committee for the activities of the Noble Qur’an's International Exhibition, held by the Quranic Affairs council at the Shrine, has begun to install a figure(statue) for the Holy Quran in the area of BaynAlHaramain coinciding with the prophet's Messengership (Call to Prophethood)
The member of the Preparatory Committee, Mr. Muntadher al-Mansoori, said: “Under the Shrine's auspices, the preparatory committee has installed a large statue of the Holy Quran in BaynaAlHaramain, for the (Call to Prophethood) day, which was chosen as the international day of the Quran, noting that the Shrine chose this model, to use the artistic vision as a way of distributing the Quranic culture, feeling proud of Islamic identity.
Al-Mansoori added, " The statue was created by a specialized team and took almost two months with dimensions of 2*4 meters for height & length, and 3m in width.
