The Shia Endowment announced choosing the international memorizer and reciter, Dr. (Zainab Adnan Al-Moussawi) from the Qur'anic Education Unit of the Women's Religious propagation Division at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, to represent Iraq in the international competition, which will be held in Iran.
In a statement, the division administration said: "The Qur'anic Sciences Center of the Shia Endowment has chosen the contestant Dr. (Zainab) to participate and represent Iraq In the field of Qur'anic memorizing and recitation, noting that; the competition will be held in April 2023."
It is stated that this is the second time Imam Hussain Shrine and Iraq have represented at this international competition, the first time was in 2017, and she took the branch of memorizing the whole Holy Quran and placed third.
