During his visitation to Imam Hussain Shrine, French ambassador was impressed by the social solidarity and services provided by the Shrine

The representative of the supreme religious authority of Imam Hussain's holy shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, has hosted the French ambassador in Iraq Eric Chevalier, the governor of Karbala, Nassyyef al-Khattabi, and the governor of Basra, Asaad al-Eidani

Sheikh Al-Karbalai has indicated in the meeting with the delegation, that "there are a great message, great values, and principles, for the revolution of Imam Hussein noting that "the Arbae'en pilgrims represent the roots of that message"

In addition, the French ambassador expressed his great admiration for social solidarity and selflessness, the mechanism of service, organization, teamwork, and cooperation in the holy province of Karbala, describing the pilgrimage as the largest crowd in the world.

The delegation accompanied by the head of the Health and Medical Education Authority at Imam Hussain shrine, Dr. Sattar Al-Saadi, was briefed on the services provided by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, especially in the health aspect.

Al-Sa'adi added that "the ambassador was impressed by the amount of free medical services provided by the Holy shrine to millions of pilgrims of different nationalities, in addition, to providing modern medical equipment"
