Imam Hussain Shrine provided medical services for over (1,200,000) pilgrims during Arbaeen pilgrimage

Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced providing medical services to more than (1,200,000) Iraqi, Arabian, and foreign pilgrims, until the evening of the 19th of Safar.

In an interview with the official website, Dr. Sattar Al-Sa'adi, the head of the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Holy Shrine, said, "Over (1,200,000) pilgrims got medical and treatment services by (3000) medical staff." Noting that "the Shrine has prepared (20) medical detachments, (6) hospitals"

He added, "As everyone knows that the number of pilgrims is very large, and some of them have chronic diseases like blood pressure and diabetes, and they might forget to take their medicine as a result of crowding, so we were keen to provide them with the best services"
