"Fadak farm", affiliated with Imam Hussain Shrine, cultivated over (60) tons of dates and announces its preparations to provide the markets

The administration of the Fadak farm for cultivating palms, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced its preparations to provide near to (60) tonnes of the finest Iraqi and Arabic dates to the markets.

The director of the farm, Engineer Fa'yez Abu Al-Ma'ali, said in an interview with the (Karbala) satellite channel, "The Hussaini Shrine ensured to take care of the palms because they are the identity of Mesopotamia

He added that "the production of dates in Iraq has witnessed a significant reduction in recent times, due to the country's conditions,

That's why the Imam Hussain Administration took the initiative for this cultivation.

The farm's marketing officer, Muhammad Alaa Abu Al-Ma'ali, indicated that "the farm includes a variety of more than (90) kinds of finest dates, that Iraq is distinguished in its cultivation, in addition to the rare kinds, imported from various Arab countries"
