With an area of (11700m2)...Imam Hussain Shrine constructs a hospital for cancerous tumors in Basra province

The Strategic Projects Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announced the achieved rates so far of the Cancerous Tumor Hospital project in Basra Governorate.

In an interview with the official website, the head of the department, Eng. Muhammad Diaa, said, "the work in the project is taking place at a high level, and because of the great efforts by our workers and engineering staff, we achieved the hardest points, and the hard work continues, Noting that the project has a total area of ​​20,000 square meters and a building area of ​​11,700 square meters"

He added that "the project consists of (4) buildings, the first is the main hospital consisting of two floors with an area of ​​(8500 m2), containing several main departments, and a second one has (4) floors, which includes (48) sleeping rooms equipped with the latest medical equipment, and the third building was allocated for electromechanical services, while the last building was specialized for radioactive iodine treatment with a single floor"

It is stated that Imam Hussain Holy Shrine under the guidance of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, always takes the initiative in everything that may serve peoples' needs, therefore the staff works day and night to complete this project.
