The holy city of Kerbela witnessed the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Mohammed El-Jewad (Peace Be Upon Him) on 22, 8, 2017.
A great number of mourners circumambulated Imam Hussein and El-Abbas Shrines, carrying a symbolic coffin, and shedding heartfelt tears over the tragedy of the Imam, and then finished their stately rituals at the Imam Hussein Shrine.
Imam Mohammed, whose nickname is El-Jewad, which means (the generous), the ninth imam of the Ahlul-Bayet (Peace Be Upon Them), was poisoned to death.
