Prayers to be sent to Iraq's martyrs

The assistant custodian of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Sa’ad Ed-Deen El-Benna has called the pilgrims of the Ahlul-Bayet (Peace Be Upon Them) to remember the martyrs; those who have been martyred during the war against ISIS, in their prayers and supplications.

His call came during a ceremony held to reward a number of the families of those who lost their loved ones in Mosul battlefields.

We recommend that everyone should assist the martyrs’ families, because such families sacrificed so much for the sake of Iraq, added El-Benna.

This is the least we can do for the martyrs and their families: we pray for them, assist their families, mention them in our supplications, and remember them in our pilgrimages; this is what the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority has advised us to do, added further El-Benna.
