The office of the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority sayyid Ali El-Husseini Es-Sistani has stated that the crescent of the beginning of Ramadhan month is expected to be seen in the evening of Friday 26 May 2017.
They have also said that the crescent may be difficult to see, although the sky will be clear, while others have said that the crescent will probably only be seen via binoculars.
Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, on the other hand, has announced its programs for Ramadhan month, such as Quran ceremonies in the morning and in the evening, self-developing programs for women, supplication sessions, and other activities.
