Es-Safi: monetary sources must be found, regulations must be rectified

Jan 22, 2016. Second part of the Friday's Sermon held at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday's Sermon in the holy city of Kerbala, His Eminence sayyid Ahmed Es-Safi demanded that all the concerned parties ought to create a suitable atmosphere for peaceful coexistence among the Iraqis, and arms must be possessed by the government exclusively. His Eminence also demanded that all the politicians have to necessarily take responsibility and eliminate all forms of their political discord that are personal, denominational, and regional. He further mentioned some issues that pause threat to people’s security, such as terror and those who possess arms out of the frame of the government; not to mention the economic and monetary challenges that directly threaten citizens’ livelihood on the pretext of dropping the price of oil internationally; along with the absence of finding suitable solutions to seriously eradicate all kinds of corruption. His Eminence held the government, which was voted for by the Iraqis, responsible for not making any positive changes; but on the contrary, the situation has become worse and people have begun to suffer increasingly. He concluded his speech by demanding that the government has to appreciate what the patriots have been offering their country by fighting the ISIS, and sincerely employ its potential to build Iraq.   Translated by: Mohammed Jasim Alobaidi
