The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine held an intellectual symposium under the title of, “Terrorism... reasons and consequences, -Iraq is an example” to discuss the reasons and implications of terrorism in Iraq and the future plans of the country. Abdul-Abbas El-Mengushi, PHD holder from Kerbala University, discussed several issues concerning terrorism in Iraq. He considered Iraq as the key to take over the world because Iraq represents the gate to the Middle East. He also touched upon the reasons and plots of partitioning Iraq that are led by Arab and territorial countries and under international supervision, due to the geographic and strategic importance of Iraq. The symposium was full of discussions that took place with the audience which included military experts and representatives of the popular mobilization forces.
