The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Scout Association contributed during the Ashura pilgrimage by easing the burdens and helping pilgrims overcome the difficulties they faced in previous years. The Scouts organized guidance programs to guide the pilgrims around the city of Kerbala. MR. Thol-Fikar Esh-Sharifi , Association Head states that the Scouts laid out 24 hour programs such as the "Visitor's Guide" to guide pilgrims around the city. Nonetheless, after coordinating with the Imam Hussein and El-Abbas Holy Shrines, the scouts provided local and international phone services that dealt with health and security purposes.
