The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and the El-Abbas Holy Shrine have begun the necessary preparations to hold the Tenth International Cultural Conference of the Martyrdom Spring.The head of the Media Department of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Mr. Ali Kadhim Sultan, stated such a conference considered one of the most significant events annually held in the Imam Hussein Holy shrine. He added that the necessary preparations are being taken in order to receive the participation of the participating people from different countries. He mentioned further that some of the activities that will be performed are: 1. The International Book Fair, and the Husseinian Documentary Film Competition.2. More than 35 countries have been invited, and communications are still being held to invite more countries than the last year when 50 countries participated. 3. Most of the preparations have been found very easy to be done due to holding the same conference nine times. 4. The conference will be publicized next days. It will be held for five days on the 3rd until the 7th of Sha'ban month. The book fair usually lasts approximately 15 days, so it coincides with the Shabanian great pilgrimage when millions of people come to Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him). Therefore, it's been decided to hold the book fair earlier in order not to have overcrowding during the pilgrimage. 5. Remarkable figures are invited by sending them invitations requiring their autobiographies in order to review them thoroughly, and then the most suitable figure will be chosen, after making sure of what they do is serving the Husseinian aspect. 6. The conference will be held in the Imam Hussein and in the El-Abbas Holy Shrines, except for the book fair which will be held in the Zaineb Sanctuary, in addition to the evening sessions for Quran recitation which will be held in the courtyard of the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines.7. Prizes will only be presented for the participants of the Husseinian Documentary Film Competition, which is: 5000$ for the first winner, 4000$ for the second winner, and 3000$ for the third winner.
