1400 years ago, Islamic pulpits started telling about the merits of Imam Ali, (Peace Be Upon Him), citing the famous quote of the prophet Mohammed (Peace & Allah's Blessings be Upon Him & His Pure Lineage) which says, "O' Ali, no one knows Allah, but you and I, no one knows me but Allah, and you, and no one knows you but Allah, and I." Also, Imam Ali, (Peace Be Upon Him) used to tell people, "Ask me before you lose me." Such quotes and events raise inquiries about the secret of such a unique character, who was adored by Muslims and non-Muslims, and because of that expansive adoration, they adopted him as a god, while the unbelievers remained murdering anyone who adores him or carries his name. so, the head of the Media Division of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Mr. Wela' Es-Seffar, was invited by the Lebanese Christian and philosopher Dr. Mishal Ka'di, and then met with him at his house. Es-Seffar, said that Ka'di, was mentioning Imam Ali, (Peace Be Upon Him) and therefore, he asked him questions to which he replied with great answers: What is you relation with Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him) and you are Christian?He answered, "My father was behind my adoring Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him) when he was taking care of studying the 'Peak of Eloquence' book about Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him). Therefore, my father asked me to make my Ph.D. dissertation about Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him)." Did you fulfill your father's wish?He said, "I did fulfill my father's wish and I made my dissertation about Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him)." Did you speak with the university or with another entity? And what was the answer? He said, "I contacted the Vatican in Italy and got the permission to write on Imam Ali, (Peace Be Upon Him). How did get references on Imam Ali, (Peace Be Upon Him)?He said, "Unfortunately, I searched for references in Lebanon, Nejaf, and in other Arab countries, but I did not find the references I needed. Therefore, I traveled to Italy, where I got all the references I was searching for, in addition I found a book on 11000 quotes of wisdom by Imam Ali, (Peace Be Upon Him) in the library of the Vatican." How long did you take until you finished your dissertation? He said, "Any dissertation would take 3 years, but I finished it in 5 years." Did you write on Islam and Ahlul-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them)?He said, "Yes, I wrote books about Ahlul-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them) such as 'Imam Ali, (Peace Be Upon Him) Method, Spirit, and Jurisprudence.' another book was on 'Imam Zain El-Abedeen, (Peace Be Upon Him) in the Christian Thought.' And 'Merits of Imamate.' In addition to some articles." Have these books been printed and published?He said, "Yes, they have been printed and published all over the world." Are planning to visit Iraq, soon?He said, "Yes, I'll visit Iraq, and the holy shrines next Moharram month. I'll also deliver a research at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine about his son Imam Zain El-Abedeen, (Peace Be Upon Him.) at the Sejjadian Hymns Conference."
