The head of the Public Relations Department of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Sayed Jemal Ed-Deen Esh-Shehristani, said, "The Secretariat-General of the Imam Husain Holy shrine is preparing for holding the First Tarateel Sejadeya Festival from 24th to 26th of Muharram month A.H., which corresponds to Feb 19, 2014."
He also said that the festival would be held for the first time on Imam Zain El-Abedeen (Es-Sejjad) (Peace Be Upon Him). The festival will carry the title, "The Treatise on Rights by Imam Zainul Abedeen (Peace Be Upon Him) is a Method and a Constitution" He added that the festival would include some articles, aspects, and contests, and one of the most important activities will be the opening ceremony which is determined to be held November 19, 2014.
The festival will begin at 10 AM with reciting verses of the Nobel Quran followed by two speeches by the preparatory committee in terms of identifying the conference and the his eminence the Secretary-General of the Imam Husain Holy Shrine.
The delegations from outside of Iraq will deliver a speech and then cutting the ribbon of the Book Fair which is located in the area between the Two Holy Shrines. He said further that there would be a competition on writing a book about Imam Zain El-Abedeen (Peace Be Upon Him), and the deadline would be on the 1st of Thul Qu'dah month 1435 A.H.
A play on the Treatise on Rights by Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him) will be performed for 45 minutes on the 24th of Moharram month A.H. in addition, a play show will be also performed at the El-Aqeela Zaineb Sanctuary at night, on the 25th Moharram month A.H.
A photo gallery and atelier fair exhibition will be held where many photographers will participate in. At last, a press festival will be held in which the Secretary-General of the Imam Husain Holy Shrine and one of the participating foreign figures will participate.
Imam Husain Holy Shrine has announced its willingness to print all the MA and PhD theses concerning Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Esh-Shehristani mentioned printing books and researches that would be shed light upon in terms of the idea and the essence of purport. The books which will be printed are: 1. The Role of Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him) in the Husanian Revolution. 2. The Relation of Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him) with the Rulers at his Time. (Analytical Study) 3. The Role of Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him) in disseminating the Islam of Ahlul-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them). 4. The Didactic Impression of the Supplications of Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him). 5. Human Rights Between the Treatise on Rights of Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him) and the Human Rights laws. (Comparative Study) 6. The Role of Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him) in Manumission. (Analytical Study) 7. Animal Rights in the Perspective of Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him). The titles of the researches aspects are: 1. The Relation of Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him) with the Rulers at his Time. 2. The Didactic Impression of the Supplications of Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him). 3. Human Rights Between the Treatise of Rights of Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him) and the Human Rights laws. (Comparative Study) 4. Woman Rights (Mother – Wife – Daughter) Between the Treatise on Rights by Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him) and the Human Rights Laws. (Comparative Study) 5. Contemporary Reading on the Treatise on Rights by Imam Es-Sejjad (Peace Be Upon Him). Esh-Shehristani mentioned further that an invitation was sent to Kufi Annan, which turned positive indicators, and another invitation was sent to the American Human Rights Watch, that expressed their consent acceptance, in addition to inviting some organizations associated with the Human Rights Organization in Egypt, Tunis, Bahrain, Turkey, and Iran.
The two Ministers of the Human Rights Organization in Baghdad and Arbil Provinces and remarkable figures who are specialists in society and Human Rights issues, in addition to the Shiat Endowment Bureau, Sunnie Endowment Bureau, Christian Endowment Bureau, and other religious entities will attend the conference.
BBC, The Spanish Press Agency, The New York Times, The London Times, The Egyptian Times, Cairo Tomorrow's Press Agency were also sent an invitation. Three prizes have been specified for the first three winners of media agencies that provide full coverage to the conference.
He stated the names that would participate in the festival: Dr. Huda Abdul Hemeed Zeki, the head of Creed and Philosophy Department in the Azhar University, Dr. Abdul Nasir Jebri, the dean of the Islamic Call College in Beirut, the head of International Council for the Arabic Language, and the head of Sufi people in Lebanon and Egypt, Ghibta El-Bitryarik Mar Leuis Rufa'eel- an MA holder in Islamic Thought, a member of the committee of the Religions and Fatikan, and Dr. Mishal Ka'di- a teacher at Lebanon University, a poet, and an author.
