Feb 21, 2014. Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, his eminence Sheikh abdul Mehdi El-Kerbala'i mentioned some phenomenons in terms of education, teaching, health, and sociology which need to be taken care of by the supreme authorities in the country due to their significance towards development and uplifting Iraq from what is threatening it educationally, socially, and healthily. One of the most important issues, as his eminence said, is anti-literacy campaign; which leads to ignorance, poverty, unemployment, and civilizational backwards. Concerning the self-funding factories and companies, his eminence shed light upon the low salary of the employees who are facing issues with their life nowadays. He also called the supreme governmental authorities for supporting those factories and companies due to their inability to cover all the expanses required to be operating. His eminence concluded by mentioning that the deterioration occurred in education and industry was because of the wars Iraq went through. Translated by: Mohammed Jasim
