The Secretariat-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has finalized the sketch for elevating the holy dome of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine. The expansion project will include constructing more openings around the lattice-enclosed tomb in order to grant pilgrims a larger area to perform pilgrimage to Imam Hussein (PBUH).The holy dome will be raised approximately 7,5 square meters. In addition, the sketch has been laid out by an Iranian University, and more details would be provided about the project in the future in terms of implementing the project.
