Es-Safi: Government Must be Alert in Such a Massive March to Imam Hussein (PBUH), & Prevent Terrorists From Harming Any of Pilgrims

Dec 20, 2013. Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, his eminence Sayed Ahmed Es-Safi confirmed the importance of commemorating the Imam Hussein's 40th memorial and its rituals, especially coming on foot to Imam Hussein (PBUH) by walking hundreds of miles. He also mentioned the instructions given by the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority concerning walking to Imam Hussein (PBUH) in which each pilgrim should rectify himself to a better level by thinking of the merits and recompense he shall obtain from Almighty Allah. He added, "With praying to Almighty Allah, we should also follow Ahlul-Bayt (PBUT) and learn how they usually peacefully and considerately socialized with people. We should not be oblivious because the school of Ahlul-Bayt (PBUH) calls for being attentive and truthful."His eminence mentioned offering prayer at its exact time, which is the fundamentally a pillar of the Husseinian revolution, especially prostration which is considered the most state of being communicated with Almighty Allah. He gave an example that Imam Hussein never left any prayer behind ever even in the battle he had been martyred. He pointed out a very significant issue which was the Hijab (decent cloth), and the best example is lady Zaineb (Peace Be Upon Her), when she was taken with the rest of the family of Imam Hussein (PBUH) as prisoners, and decency remain as it was of the best level. Therefore, it is a great honor, for women, to learn the true decency from lady Zaineb (Peace Be Upon Her), also, it is a great honor, for men, to learn how she obligated and literally followed the instructions of Imam Zainul-Abedeen (Es-Sejjad) (PBUH). His eminence extended his thankfulness to the security forces for ensuring great security to the pilgrims. His eminence called them for taking precautions. He also called the government for receiving more millions of pilgrims soon arriving in Iraq, and for ensuring better security to them, especially by cracking down the terrorists.
