Aug 30, 2013. Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, his eminence Sayed Ahmed Es-Safi, mentioned the status quo of Iraq, involving the absence of security planning in the inhabited areas, and the random buildings being built that are not done according to the proper planning requirements for the city. His eminence also mentioned that Iraq is a great country because it is divinely granted with such natural resources. He shed light upon the Iraqi population which is constantly increasing is making sort of a chaos due to buildings being spread randomly. It would be common sense to spread the culture and the special rules of constructing houses. He also mentioned that such an issue doesn't need any political agreements, but it needs determination to plan tidy cities in our country. He also shed light upon the critical political totterings that Iraq is currently going through, calling for coming up with a solution to deal with the security and political issues considerately. He added that: "We should resort to the principles of peaceful talks held by all the political parties and blocs towards fulfilling peaceful coexistence."His eminence called the politicians to reconsider what Iraqi people hope for; which is to find their country settled and safe. He added "People need to be looked at, and their unknown future must be saved. Besides, history is constantly written in which it should be an honorable history in order to deliver a great image about our country which is rich with endless natural resources, qualifies people, and intellectia."He said further that officials in power should truly communicate with each other, discovering everything for the sake of Allah, for the sake of history, or for the sake of the aggrieved people of Iraq. He reminded the politicians by saying: "How many orphans are waiting for you now, how many widows and families lost their beloved ones waiting for your integrity, as well as the class of the poor and war-handicapped people. And you will be held into account on the resurrection day for ensuring nothing to all of those people." He concluded by mentioning that Iraqi people have suffered so much, and it must be ended by breaking all the negative limits and begin to serve them truly. Translated by: Mohammed Jasim
