June 24, 2013. On the occasion of the blessed birthday of the Awaited Imam El-Mehdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance), more than 3000 volunteers have attended the Imam Hussein holy shrine in order to participate in serving the pilgrims who came to perform pilgrimage to Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) and commemorate such remarkable rituals.Mr. Qasim Muhmood Kereem, the head of the Division of Coordination of the Imam Hussein holy shrine stated that the volunteers came from different provinces of Iraq in order to serve the pilgrims of such a good occasion.He also mentioned that the volunteers had been assigned to the departments of the Imam Hussein holy shrine where need was.
