After millions of people determined to come to Keerbala city to commemorate the Fortieth pilgrimage of Imam Hussein and his brother EL-Abbas (p.b.u.t), and after they have finished the ceremonies; the sanctuary of EL-Imam EL-Mahdy (may God hasten his appearance) has witnessed millions of people flocking successively on the occasion of the Fortieth day after his grandfather's martyrdom (Imam Hussein p.b.u.h). The electronic media of the Imam Hussein holy shrine ensured a full media coverage and captured some spiritual scenes of the crowds of faithful people who humbly and truly submitted themselves, supplicated and prayed to God for hastening the appearance of our awaited Imam (EL-Mahdy p.b.u.h). It's been mentioned that the Secretariat-General of the Imam Hussein holy shrine previously finished a vital project to develop the holy sanctuary and the areas around it. New lavatories were constructed rather than the gardens and rest areas for pilgrims that included all the needs of convenience that each pilgrim needs. By: Mohammed Jassim
