The Imam Hussein holy shrine finalizing & preparing to Inaugurate the city of pilgrims

The head of the architectural projects department of the Imam Hussein holy shrine; architect Mohammed Hassan Kadhom stated that they were finalizing, and would inaugurate the city of pilgrims (visitors)located on Babylon-Kerbala' road on 14-Nov-2012. The city of pilgrims (visitors)is 4 km from the Imam Hussein holy shrine. It's been founded for providing the flocks of people whom come for Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) with all conveniences especially on millionth pilgrimages. For serving the millions of people; the Imam Hussein holy shrine decided to found two cities, one which has just been finalized, and the other one will soon be implemented. Each city would include accommodation, food, rest areas, medical services, a mosque, utilities, W.C and some other services. He also mentioned that the financing party for this project is the Shiite entailment bureau. The area of the city project is 50000 square meters, it also includes 13 buildings for housing, each building is two stories, and each story includes 200 visitors. By: Mohammed Jassim
