The Department of Engineering and Technical Projects at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine is continuing construction works on the Orphans' Schools Complex project in Al-Qasim district, Babil Governorate. The initiative aims to support the educational sector and upgrade academic infrastructure, providing an integrated learning environment that meets the needs of students.
The project director, Engineer Hussein Alaa Al-Saadi, stated in an interview with the Official Website that "the Department of Engineering and Technical Projects at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues to carry out works on the Orphans' Schools Complex project in Al-Qasim district, Babil Governorate, with the goal of supporting the educational sector and developing infrastructure to offer a comprehensive learning environment for students."
He explained that "the project is funded by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine under the sponsorship of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai, aiming to deliver a complete educational environment that combines academic, service, and humanitarian aspects."
He added that "the total area of the project spans (5,791) m² and includes (2) school buildings, alongside several service structures and facilities. Among these is a (250) m² administration building spanning (2) floors and housing a public library, as well as a kindergarten building of the same area, which also consists of two floors."
He continued, noting that "the project incorporates a multi-purpose hall covering an area of (500) m² with a height reaching (14) meters, in addition to equipping the schools with an integrated system of modern services and facilities that help create a suitable educational environment for both students and teaching staff."
He pointed out that "the educational buildings feature equipped classrooms, digital learning technologies, computers, communication systems, and elevators, alongside a cafeteria, seating areas, administrative facilities, and break rooms for teaching staff."
It is worth noting that the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues to execute educational and service projects across several governorates as part of its dedication to supporting the educational process, improving school environments, and offering better learning opportunities for orphans and students, thereby reinforcing educational and humanitarian values within society.
