In Preparation for the New Academic Year: Maintenance Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Completes Rehabilitation of Al-Furqan Primary School in Karbala

The Head of the Maintenance Department, Engineer Abdul-Hassan Mohammad, stated in an interview with the official website that "the work was carried out following the directives of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai, and under the supervision of the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Mr. Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayachi, aimed at providing a suitable educational environment for both students and teaching staff."

He added that "the project included the rehabilitation and repair of more than (200) school desks, as well as painting classroom walls and corridors covering an area exceeding (1,500) square meters, in addition to fabricating and constructing an indoor canopy covering (500) square meters."

He further explained that "the technical crews also completed the replacement of classroom and hall doors by installing (20) new wooden doors according to the required specifications, alongside fabricating and equipping a service caravan measuring (24) square meters, complete with furnishing, electrical installations, and interior paneling."

He emphasized that "the Maintenance Department continues to execute its plan to rehabilitate several educational institutions in the holy governorate of Karbala, contributing to the provision of a suitable learning environment for students and supporting the educational and service sectors across the governorate."

These efforts fall within the ongoing initiatives of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to support educational institutions and prepare appropriate learning environments that contribute to better academic conditions for students at the start of the new school year.
