With the Participation of 2,500 Female Students, Quran House Concludes Summer Quranic Courses Project for Girls

Wisam Al-Delfi, head of the Quran House Media Center, stated: "The closing ceremony featured several Quranic and cultural segments, beginning with blessed Quranic recitations, followed by a speech by the Head of the Quran House Department, Sheikh Dr. Khair Al-Din Ali Al-Hadi, who commended the efforts made by the administration, teachers, parents, and students in ensuring the project's success."

Al-Delfi explained that "in his address, Sheikh Al-Hadi stressed that serving and applying the Holy Quran ranks among the most noble endeavors due to its impact on building the individual and society. He noted that one of the most vital projects adopted by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine is human development founded upon values, virtues, and morals."

He added that "the head of the department reaffirmed the Quran House's commitment to continuing these summer courses given their importance in shaping the students' personalities and developing their capabilities. He highlighted that messages received from schools, universities, and educational institutions confirm that graduates of these courses have become role models for their peers."

Al-Delfi pointed out that "the project represents a Quranic message to the world, demonstrating the power of Quranic work in connecting generations to the Book of Almighty Allah and the principles of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). He stated that Sheikh Al-Hadi expressed his gratitude to the Supreme Religious Authority, represented by Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani, and to the Legal Guardian of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, for his care and support of these projects, as well as to the Secretariat-General of the Shrine and its supporting departments."

He continued: "The ceremony program included a chant performance by the project's female students and a speech delivered by one of the students, who directed a message to her peers and children worldwide on the necessity of following the Holy Quran and the path of Imam Hussain and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). This was accompanied by two recitations delivered by project students and a third recitation presented in sign language."

The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the teachers, participants, and staff in charge of the summer Quranic courses project in recognition of their efforts in making the initiative a success.
