Sibtain University for Medical Sciences, affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, received a delegation from the Kurdistan Children’s Protection Organization. The delegation comprised a select group of specialists and administrators working in the fields of child protection, education, health, and rehabilitation, aiming to review the university’s academic and rehabilitative experience and explore avenues for mutual cooperation.
According to a statement issued by the university, a copy of which was obtained by the Official Website, "the visit aimed to examine the reality of the College of Medical Rehabilitation and the specialized services it offers, particularly in rare departments across Iraq and the Region, including Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy."
The statement explained that "the visit included a tour through the corridors of the university and its affiliated therapeutic center to inspect various medical and academic cases, as well as to review work mechanisms and advanced academic supervision."
It noted that "the delegation members expressed their admiration for the outstanding infrastructure, modern technologies, and the medical and academic competencies housed within the university, conveying their desire to transfer this experience to the governorates of the Kurdistan Region."
It added that "the visit witnessed discussions on ways to enhance joint cooperation, alongside submitting a request to the university to help facilitate admission procedures for students wishing to study there."
This visit comes within the framework of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's commitment to strengthening academic and rehabilitative cooperation, and supporting the educational journey in its affiliated universities by employing scientific competencies, adopting modern teaching methods, providing world-class technologies, and preparing an advanced learning environment for Iraqi students.
