The Imam Al-Muntadhar (may Allah hasten his honorable reappearance) Cultural Complex, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, organized a Quranic session as part of its weekly program, with the participation of religious science students from the Al-Imam Al-Muntadhar Religious Schools. This initiative forms part of its dedication to enhancing the presence of the Holy Quran within student programming and advancing their skills in recitation and reflection.
The head of the Imam Al-Muntadhar Cultural Complex, Sheikh Hussain Ali Al-Askari, stated in an interview with the Official Website that "the Quranic session is held on a weekly basis every Thursday night, aiming to refine the talents of students in the aspects of recitation and pondering over the verses of the Holy Book, as well as demonstrating devotion to the Holy Quran as the weight left behind by the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) among Muslims."
He added that "these programs align with the call to pay attention to the Holy Quran through recitation and contemplation," noting that "the Imam Al-Muntadhar Cultural Complex runs various Quranic programs across Dhi Qar Governorate, aimed at fostering Quranic culture and enhancing the skills of participants."
He further pointed out that "through these programs, the complex endeavors to consolidate the relationship with the Holy Quran and encourage students to recite its verses and reflect upon its meanings, thereby contributing to the development of a generation more deeply connected to the Holy Book."
