The Warith Academy for Health Leadership, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced the provision of all requirements and specialized training programs to supply health and educational institutions with qualified personnel, in addition to opening participation for trainees from outside the Authority at subsidized prices.
The Director of Warith Academy for Health Leadership, Dr. Amer Al-Taie, stated in an interview with the official website that "the academy works to provide training requirements in various specialties to supply health, higher education institutions, and specialized centers, as the programs cover the fields of healthcare quality, infection control, and clinical guidelines, as well as preparing complete training packages and planning programs, and granting accredited certificates to those who pass these courses."
He explained that "the academy allows receiving trainees from outside the Authority at subsidized prices and under the supervision of distinguished, accredited trainers," pointing out "the start of training programs in the field of occupational health and safety, such as (OSHA), and working to complete the requirements for obtaining accreditation for the international (NEBOSH) certificate so that the academy becomes an exclusive specialized center for granting it in Iraq."
He added that "the academy represents the only specialized center in Iraq accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) to offer Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses, and to open the door for its international exams for the first time inside the Health and Medical Education Authority in Holy Karbala."
The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues, through its health authorities and institutions, to develop the training and educational infrastructure for medical staff in Iraq, with the aim of raising the standard of care and treatment services provided to citizens in accordance with the latest approved international standards.
