Imam Zain Al-Abideen Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the renewal of its TEMOS international healthcare accreditation, reaffirming its continued commitment to applying the highest standards of quality and patient safety in the delivery of healthcare services.
In a statement obtained by the official website, the hospital said, "Imam Zain Al-Abideen Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has renewed its TEMOS international healthcare accreditation, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to applying the highest standards of quality and patient safety in the delivery of healthcare services."
The statement explained that "the renewal of the TEMOS international accreditation reflects the hospital's pioneering journey, having become the first hospital in Iraq to receive this international accreditation for the first time in 2025."
It added that "the accreditation was renewed after the hospital fulfilled all requirements set by the international accrediting body, in addition to implementing numerous specialized projects focused on quality improvement and patient safety, which directly contributed to enhancing the level of healthcare provided to patients."
The statement further noted that "this achievement is the result of the continuous efforts made by all hospital staff and reflects the institution's steadfast commitment to ongoing development and the delivery of safe healthcare services in accordance with the highest international standards."
