The Engineering and Technical Projects Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced the continuation of foundation casting works for the Al-Thaqalayn University project as part of its advanced construction phases. The project is one of the Holy Shrine's strategic educational initiatives aimed at supporting higher education and providing a modern academic environment that meets the requirements of scientific development.
In a statement obtained by the official website, the department said that "the Engineering and Technical Projects Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues foundation casting works for the Al-Thaqalayn University project as part of the project's advanced construction stages, representing one of the strategic educational initiatives designed to support the higher education sector and provide a modern academic environment that meets the needs of scientific development."
The statement explained that "the foundation casting works are progressing in accordance with the approved engineering and technical plans and are being carried out using the latest construction specifications, in preparation for the subsequent phases of the project, ensuring its completion in line with the highest standards of quality and safety."
It added that "the Al-Thaqalayn University project is part of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's vision to develop higher education infrastructure by establishing an integrated academic institution that provides an advanced educational and research environment, helping prepare qualified scientific professionals equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to keep pace with scientific developments and serve society."
