The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayji, stressed that achieving educational and moral objectives requires cooperation between the family, schools, and society in order to guide the younger generation toward safety and stability. His remarks came during his attendance at a ceremony honoring top students and recipients of the “general exemption” at Al-Warith Educational Schools affiliated with the Holy Shrine.
The Secretary-General said that “the educational process is based on three essential pillars: the family, the educational institution, and society,” explaining that “the first pillar in the educational process is the family, as it represents the true foundation in building a person’s character and instilling values and principles in children, and when the family is strong, society as a whole becomes strong.”
He explained that “the second pillar is the educational institution, particularly the schools of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, which through their educational and teaching staff work to prepare a conscious generation that combines academic excellence with moral commitment based on the approach of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).”
He added that “the third pillar is society, which bears major responsibility in protecting youth from the negative influence of social media,” pointing to “the intellectual and cultural attacks targeting the minds of younger generations through the incorrect use of modern technology.”
He continued that “the great trust granted by families to Al-Warith Educational Schools came as a result of their success in combining academic and educational aspects, in addition to their focus on building students’ personalities on solid scientific and moral foundations.”
He stressed that “achieving educational and moral goals requires cooperation between the family, the school, and society in order to guide the younger generation toward safety and build a virtuous society capable of confronting challenges.”
It is worth noting that the ceremony included honoring top students and recipients of the general exemption at Al-Warith Educational Group, amid confirmation from the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine of its continued support for educational and pedagogical projects and their expansion across various Iraqi provinces.
