Based on the directives of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, the Public Relations Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues its humanitarian efforts to support Syrian and Lebanese families affected by war through ongoing programs to provide housing, food, and essential services within Karbala Governorate.
The head of the Public Relations Department, Abdul Amir Taha Al-Matouri, told the official website that “based on the directives of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, the Public Relations Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues its humanitarian efforts to support Syrian and Lebanese families affected by war through ongoing programs to provide housing, food, and essential services within Karbala Governorate.”
He explained that “efforts have been ongoing for some time to receive displaced and affected families and provide them with equipped accommodation that meets the requirements of dignified living, as part of a comprehensive humanitarian plan adopted by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.”
He added that “housing operations have included several locations, such as the Aba Dhar residential complex and visitor cities, in addition to a number of hotels and husseiniyas that have been prepared to receive families and provide them with a safe and stable environment.”
He noted that “staff within the department, in coordination with relevant sections, are making significant efforts to meet the needs of these families, whether in terms of housing, food, logistical support, or daily services, amid the difficult conditions their countries are facing.”
