The Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, through its Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, has organized Eid Al-Fitr prayers in Ghana and Benin.
The initiative was implemented by the African Studies Center as part of its religious and outreach programs aimed at reviving Islamic rituals and strengthening religious engagement across the African continent.
The head of the center’s preaching unit, Muslim Al-Jabri, stated that Eid prayers were held in both countries with wide participation from local Muslim communities.
He added that the program also included a post-prayer lecture highlighting unity and brotherhood among Muslims, while promoting the shared values that bring communities together through Islam.
