Imam Zain Al-Abidin Teaching Hospital, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the launch of a special health initiative for the holy month of Ramadan, featuring a broad package of medical discounts and reduced treatment fees in support of patients.
The hospital’s Media Director, Mustafa Al-Moussawi, said in a statement to the official website that “Imam Zain Al-Abidin Teaching Hospital, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, will launch a special health initiative for the holy month of Ramadan, offering a wide range of medical discounts and treatment reductions to support patients.”
He explained that “the initiative is titled ‘Ramadan of Goodness… Health and Giving’ and will continue throughout the blessed month, as part of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine’s ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare services and expand the scope of medical care provided to patients.”
He added that “the initiative includes setting consultation clinic fees at only (5000) dinars, in addition to discounts of (50%) on laboratory tests, as well as standard X-ray and ultrasound examinations.”
He continued, “The initiative also features specialized medical discounts, including a (30%) reduction on MRI scans, CT scans, and gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures, in addition to a similar discount on natural and cesarean deliveries performed exclusively by the hospital’s doctors.”
He noted that “on the surgical side, the initiative offers a (20%) discount on various types of surgical operations, as part of efforts to support patients and ease the financial burden on families during the holy month.”
This initiative aligns with the humanitarian and service-oriented mission of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in providing comprehensive healthcare, particularly during religious seasons that witness increased medical and service needs.
