The Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine organized a development workshop titled (How to Prepare a Lecture) as part of its programs aimed at enhancing public speaking and presentation skills among youth and those engaged in cultural work.
The workshop was delivered under the supervision of the Dhi Qar branch of the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Center, which is affiliated with the department.
Sheikh Harith Al-Dahi, Director of the Center, stated that “the workshop covered several key themes, including methods for preparing lecture material, presentation techniques, and strategies for engaging and interacting with audiences, in addition to practical applications that contribute to improving lecturers’ performance and building impactful, purposeful discourse.”
He added that “the workshop was presented by Sheikh Laith Al-Hasnawi and featured a practical approach based on his experience in this field, with noticeable engagement from the participants.”
