Technical Education Authority Prepares to Launch Second Phase of AI Training Courses

The Technical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced preparations to launch the second phase of its specialized training program on artificial intelligence and its practical applications.

Dr. Abbas Al-Daami, head of the authority, stated that “the authority is preparing to begin the second phase of the training course on artificial intelligence and its applications, following the success of the first phase, which lasted three months.”

He explained that “the first phase served as an important foundational step, during which participants received intensive training on the basics of artificial intelligence delivered by specialized instructors. It contributed to enhancing their understanding of theoretical concepts as well as practical applications.”

He added that “the second phase, which will begin soon and also last three months, will be more advanced in terms of practical implementation. It will include extensive project-based training on advanced software tools, along with applications in robotics, simulation systems, and intelligent data analysis.”

Al-Daami further noted that “the aim is to prepare academic and technical staff capable of employing artificial intelligence technologies in education, administration, and industry, in line with global developments and to help advance the educational process while raising national competencies.”

He concluded by saying that “these programs are being implemented under the guidance of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority and with direct support from the shrine, which seeks to establish a solid scientific foundation by introducing the latest sciences and knowledge into Iraqi academic institutions.”
