Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Continues Supporting Quranic Activities for Syrian Guests in Lebanon

The International Quranic Preaching Center of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, through the staff of its branch in Lebanon, continues to implement a variety of Quranic educational programs and activities dedicated to the children of Syrian guests residing in Lebanon.

Head of the center’s Lebanon branch, Sayyed Ali Abu Al-Hassan, stated: “As part of our branch’s plan to embrace our brothers arriving from the Syrian Arab Republic and currently living in various areas of Lebanon, we are continuing the Quranic educational programs held under the patronage of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.” He noted that “these programs include numerous activities, most notably workshops, educational courses, gatherings, and competitions for different age groups.”

Abu Al-Hassan added: “Among these blessed initiatives is honoring students who won in Quran memorization and recitation competitions and courses previously organized by the center. The recognition also included students who completed the memorization of several parts of the Holy Quran, as an encouragement to them and motivation to continue on this blessed path, by presenting them with valuable prizes and blessed gifts from the shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).”

He further explained: “We are committed to continuously following up with these students through organized lessons focused on teaching the correct rules of recitation, principles of Tajweed, and Quran memorization. We also guide them to uphold the Quranic identity and the noble teachings of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) by engaging specialized staff under the supervision of the International Quranic Preaching Center’s Lebanon branch.”
