Sayyed al-Awsiaa modern city for pilgrims affiliated with Holy Shrine announced making a (100%) discount for marriages who are their grooms' names are related to Imam Ali (PBUH) to book a night in the city suites, coinciding with his birthday anniversary on Sunday 13 Rajab (5 February) February 2023.
The city's media official, Ali Al-Husseini, said in an interview, "Under the direct guidance of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, we took the initiative to celebrate this occasion by making a full suites discount with those who bear the names (Ali, Karrar, Haidar, Ameer, Mortadha).
It is stated that Sayyed al-Awsiaa city is located on Baghdad Road, at the entrance to the holy city of Karbala, and receives Pilgrims (visitors) from all Iraqi provinces 24/7.
