An international conference titled “Islam, Message of Compassion and Peace” is slated to be held in Russia on March 28-30.
Organized under the auspices of the Muslim World League and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the event will kick off in Moscow and continue in Grozny, the capital of the Republic of Chechnya, according to sources.
The main topics to be discussed at the conference include pillars of coexistence in Islam, Russian Muslims and peace, Muslims and civilized interaction, and countering terrorism and extremism.
